George Padbury

It is with heavy hearts that we bid a final farewell to George (81 years) in the early morning hours on December 16, 2017. He left peacefully from his home in Moose Jaw with his family close by. George is predecease­d by his Father, Bert (1976); Mother, Louise (2006); In laws, Jenny (1987) and Cyril West (1997); as well as H.E. Caudill (1998), Pamela West (1999) and Albert West (2004). He is survived by his wife, Joyce of 57 years; daughters, Lana and Leigh (Leon Benz); and his grandson Ty (Alex Donison). He is also survived by his sister, Mavis Caudill; sister in law, Judy West; as well as nieces and nephews: Mark Caudill, Susan Connet, Carol Thames, Kerry Gray, Russ West and their families. George was a very hard worker, he farmed for 48 years at Aylesbury, SK. He was a man with many interests including farming, cattle, restoring tractors, arrow head hunting, inventing, fishing, bird watching, and creating his beautiful metal work. Everything he did, he did to perfection. All are invited to join us in a celebratio­n of George’s life on Saturday, December 23, at 2:00 PM, at the Aylesbury Hall, as per his request. Interment at Aylesbury Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorials in memory of George can be made to the Aylesbury Rec. Board or the Aylesbury Cemetery.
