Tammy Hincks, St. John Ambulance Training Center Manager for Moose Jaw and Regina, says the students enjoy the program and encourages every parent to enrol their children in a Home Alone Program.

“After a course is taught, we ask for feedback on the class and the children absolutely love the course. The course is fun, knowledgeable and we do many activities in the course to make it exciting. I think it’s valuable for parents to enrol their children because it teaches some very important safety tips and provides them with essential knowledge about being home alone. In this day and age, a lot of children are home alone starting at a very young age, so this is important to all children to learn these tips. The children are also so happy to get a certificate at the end of the course,” said Hincks.

To register your children for this course, you can contact St. John Ambulance at 306-692-1600. The Home Alone Course dates at the Moose Jaw Training Center are: February 23. April 6, May 12, June 23, July 13, August 23, September 22, October 13 and December 15.
