CAREGIVERS’ SUPPORT GROUP meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month until the end of June from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Rose Room of Providence Place.

SING WITH BEL CORO, a community choir, at the Moose Jaw Public Library, with Wanda Reid Directing, on Monday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. for a rich a cappella harmony experience. No audition or prior experience necessary. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.

GENTLE YOGA, with Rita Beth, will take place on February 8, 2018 at 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Public Library. This program is ideal for those ‘new to yoga’ or those looking for a Gentle, calming Yoga class. Gentle Yoga can help with balance, focus, flexibilit­y and relaxation! Please wear loose, comfortabl­e clothing. Dress in layers for warmth! Please bring a Yoga mat (if you have one). There will be time for Q & A with the Yoga Instructor. Admission is free. WINTER FEAST FOR THE SOUL will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at noon at the Public Library. The Winter Feast for the Soul is a 40-day period from January 15 to February 23 each year where people all over the world commit to 40 minutes each day of personal practice. This may be any sort of spiritual or religious practice, from prayer to mediation to yoga. Come in for our weekly noon hour sessions to help support you in this worldwide practice to embrace stillness and cultivate inner peace. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.

MORTLACH MUSEUM & MORTLACH RECREATION BOARD FUNDRAISER will be held on Saturday February 17th, at the Mortlach Memorial Hall. The evening is planned to appeal to all age groups. Bingo starts at 6:30, and is followed by a social & live charity auction of desserts & donated items. There will also be a penny parade for the children & silent auction for the adults. SEA CADETS is Open to Teens 12-18: the program is free and is sponsored by the Department of National Defence and the Navy League branch. You have the opportunit­y to learn to sail, learn rope work and other ship operations as in navigation semaphore and communicat­ion, and also have the opportunit­y to travel with the Sea Cadet deployment­s to places like India, Japan and other coastal communitie­s, but let’s not forget about summer training. You can go to summer camp for 2,3 or 4 week courses and you are given a training bonus, so that’s like getting paid to go to camp.

Cadets meet Monday nights at 6:30pm at the Armouries at the top of Main St.
