Register NOW for the upcoming Moose Jaw Music Festival

The Moose Jaw Music Festival will be held from March 26 & 27 and again in April from the 22-29, 2018. Music Festival Classes offer opportunities for young local musicians to demonstrate their talents in Band, Choir, Musical Theatre, Piano, Violin and Voice. Our local Moose Jaw Music Festival is held under the guidance of the Saskatchewan Music Festival Association.

The registration deadline is February 21, and the online registration system is now open. Though the registration process has been online for a couple of years already, we have a new registration website: https://events.solarislive.com/Moose-Jaw-Music-Festival The site boasts a friendly “How to Register” video and FAQs to help users through the process. Online registration provides a smoother process for Festival organizers and is more convenient for students and teachers as well.

The fee schedule for band, choral and general festival entrants remains unchanged this year.

• Solos $18

• Duets $25

• Choir and Band $75

• Trios and Small Ensembles (3-8 members) $40

• Large Ensembles (over 8 members) $75 While completing their registration, students and teachers are encouraged to refer to the most recent syllabus and class numbers. The Saskatchewan Music Festival Association syllabus is conveniently linked to the Moose Jaw Music Festival site.

The support of volunteers is extremely important in order to host a successful music festival. We are always looking for volunteers to help with jobs such as door attendants and secretaries to assist the adjudicators. With the support of many, only a small time commitment is needed from each person. In addition to supporting the Festival, you will have the opportunity to hear the talented young musicians that perform!
