Special events and extended hours now offered at Moose Jaw Humane Society book store

The Moose Jaw Humane Society book store is now open Tuesday to Saturdays from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. until May 26. As always, there is a huge selection of quality used books for individuals to purchase in every genre imaginable from romance to westerns and self-help to cookbooks. There is also a wonderful selection of children’s books from board books to teen novels for the avid young reader and this is a great way to purchase them at an affordable cost.

The bookstore offers a unique opportunity to feature some of the Humane Society’s adoptable cats, as well as to raise funds for the shelter. Customers can stop by and stock up on their reading material, have a coffee, snack on some popcorn and cuddle cats; this makes for a purrfectly sweet way to spend an afternoon!

Thanks to the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company, this store is made possible in the building north of the Golden Nugget. Other special events are also offered at this location, like Cat Yoga that takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm. Anyone can join for a little yoga fun with some of the adoptable cats until February 21. Spots are filling quickly so please call the shelter early to ensure your spot.
