Property for Sale by Public Tender

Sealed tenders addressed to “Briercrest Community Co-op, PO Box 37, Briercrest, SK, S0H 0K0” or hand delivered to “Roger Beitel at 270 Main Street, Briercrest” and plainly marked on a sealed envelope “Tender for Purchase of Property”, will be received until 5:00 PM, March 30, 2018 for the following property:

Commercial building, 275 Main Street, Briercrest, SK. Lot 8 & 9, Block 4, Plan I3748. 1979, 3680 square foot, 2x6 frame building, formerly Briercrest Community Co-op, as is. With some existing equipment included.

Bids must be accompanied by a certified cheque or bank draft payable to Briercrest Co-op for 10% of the tendered price. We request that you also include with your tender what your proposed use is intended to be.

Should the successful bidder not purchase the property, the deposit will be forfeited. The deposits received from the unsuccessful bidders will be returned. There is no guarantee that the highest or any bid will be accepted. No Conditional bids will be accepted.

The successful bidder must enter into a Sale Agreement and pay in full by certified cheque or bank draft within 30 days of notification of award of tender. The successful bidder is responsible for any costs to transfer titles or any inspections they want done. GST will be added to the purchase price.
