2018 PRAIRIE HEARTS QUILTERS GUILD MEETING will be held on February 15th in the St. Andrew’s Church Social Hall at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will feature quilts that have a special meaning to the member showing it. Other scheduled items include the Mini Block Challenge, Lottery Block Draw, UFO Challenge and Show and Share.

MORTLACH MUSEUM & MORTLACH RECREATION BOARD FUNDRAISER will be held on Saturday February 17th, at the Mortlach Memorial Hall. The evening is planned to appeal to all age groups. Bingo starts at 6:30, and is followed by a social & live charity auction of desserts & donated items. There will also be a penny parade for the children & silent auction for the adults. FESTIVAL OF WORDS BOOK CLUB MEETING on Thursday, February 22, at 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Public Library. The Book Club is open to all interested adults and no registrati­on is required. The featured book this month is In Case I Go by Angie Abdou. Angie Abdou’s fifth work of fiction is about the many ways we’re haunted by the misdeeds of our ancestors. In Case I Go crackles with tension, mystery and marvel. Copies are available on a firstcome-first-served basis from the Library for anyone wishing to take part in the discussion. Admission is free.
