BUSTLE BUTT

-

The dictionary defines the word “bustle” as “a pad worn by ladies to support the back of a skirt.”

Our grandson’s Grade 3 teacher was discussing period costumes worn by women through various decades. She asked who knew what a bustle was for; our grandson Drew put his hand up and the teacher acknowledged him, but he was reluctant to speak his answer aloud, as he thought it might be rude. The teacher asked him to reply by way of whispering the answer to her first. He went up to her desk and obliged, whispering, ”It’s for a Kardashian.”

I find it very hard to believe that the teacher did not melt with laughter at this point, but I’m sure she will share this answer with many other teachers and friends.
