LEMONY FRUIT DIP
INGREDIENTS
/ cup confectioners’ sugar 12 11/ tsp grated lemon peel 2 3 tbsp lemon juice 1 carton (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed 4 to 5 drops yellow food colouring, optional Assorted fresh fruit
Prep Time: 10 minutes + chilling Yields: 12 servings
1. In a bowl, mix confectioners’ sugar, lemon peel and lemon juice until blended. Stir in whipped topping and, if desired, food colouring. Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours before serving. Serve with fruit.
2. To Make Ahead: Prepare the dip up to 3 days ahead. Cut fruit and arrange on serving trays the day of the party. Refrigerate both until guests arrive.
