DOUBLE TAKE

My husband John and I go for a morning walk at our local mall, the Bramalea City Centre. It makes for a nice brisk walk of about two miles every day, and you become familiar with all the other mall walkers. You can even tell whether you’re on schedule, judging by who else you see walking in the mall.

One particular morning, when we turned the corner, I came upon a lady with the same sweater I was wearing. Of course, I was all set to tell her how much I loved her sweater, but then realized I was about to compliment myself, as the other gorgeous woman was none other then myself in a mirror! My husband must have thought for sure I’d lost it when I began laughing for no apparent reason. He just shook his head when I told him why...maybe I do need new glasses, after all.
