Using three-dimensiona­l imaging, Sabine Mai developed a platform that enables personaliz­ed cancer management, as well as the detection of three-dimensiona­l profiles specific for Alzheimer’s disease. Her research is moving from the bench to the bedside to enable better treatment and monitoring options for patients. To this end, she co-founded 3D Signatures Inc. to introduce her three-dimensiona­l technology to clinics.

Akela Peoples is passionate about education and its role in securing a strong future for Canada.
