PAGANI FINALLY UNVEILS HUAYRA BC HYPERCAR

It might not have a cutting- edge hybrid powertrain, but the hard- core Pagani Huayra BC is a hypercar in its own right. After a steady stream of rumours and teasers, Pagani finally took the wraps off the Huayra BC ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. Naturally, it’s a work of art; it’s visually stunning and purposeful, with a carbon-fibre front splitter, rear diffuser and towering wing to improve aerodynamics on the track. The 6.0-litre V-12 engine — derived from Mercedes’ AMG division — under the hood has been massaged to produce 789 hp and 811 lb.-ft. of torque. Expect the BC to be quicker than the standard Huayra’s 3.3-second sprint. Only 20 examples will be built and each one is already spoken for.
