150 Home runs hit by members of the Baltimore Orioles this season, tops in the American League. The Blue Jays were No. 2 heading into Thursday games with 144 homers, one more than the Seattle Mariners. The Jays also have 16 triples, compared with just three for Baltimore.

The scheduled starter in the series opener, Gausman has thrown 13 2/3 innings since the break, allowing 10 hits, four walks and just two runs. Closer Zach Britton, meanwhile, has been perfect 5- for- 5 in save opportunit­ies in seven games since the break, allowing just one hit and one walk, total. Marco Estrada is the scheduled starter for the Jays.

Hits, in his last 33 atbats, by veteran Orioles first baseman Chris Davis. That includes a bunt single. He’s fanned 15 times and is slugging just .121 during the slump. AL home run leader Mark Trumbo has also struggled since the break, going 8- for- 48 with just two homers.
