Before any Islamic school is accredited by Ontario to follow the education department’s curriculum, it should also be vetted for integration of its students. Boys and girls should be afforded an equal opportunity for learning. There should be no room for medieval Islamic practices to thrive in our modern, diverse and inclusive society.
