For s o meone who wants it, wants it all and wants it now, this custom- built family compound on Cambria Island is being offered turnkey. “Perfect for entertaining friends and extended f amily, the property is offered fully furnished with all the amenities and conveniences,” says listing agent George Webster of Royal LePage Meadowtowne Realty. “Those who love to entertain will enjoy the large open kitchen.”

Chefs will enjoy preparing meals for the hungry masses who visit for the day, or come to stay. The fully equipped kitchen has a centre island and state- of- the- art stainless steel appliances, including a six- burner gas range. A triple copper sink, a bar and a conversation area are other kitchen highlights.

Gracious dining areas are offered inside and out. The dining room comfortably seats 10, while extensive docking at the main cottage and waterside provide outdoor spots to eat, drink, or relax.

The newly completed timber frame main cottage has a cedar shingle roof, a wraparound deck and a two- sided fireplace shared by the great room and fully screened sun room. The great room has an 18- foot vaulted ceiling and “enormous floor- to- ceiling windows that allow for unobstructed views and a seamless interplay between interior space and the outdoors,” Webster says.

The 3, 200- s quare- f oot main lodge offers three bedrooms, including a master suite retreat with a fourpiece en suite bathroom and a walkout to the deck. The master suite also has linen storage, a walk- in closet and french doors to a deck.

The 540- sq.- ft. waterside guest cottage has a bedroom, a three-piece bathroom, a living room and a deck. Each of the twin sleeping cabins has a three- piece bathroom. The cottages overlook a private bay.

“The main lodge appears to float above its own private bay and enjoys unobstructed views to the west,” he says.

The four- acre west- facing property is within a short boat ride of Pointe Au Baril marina and the Ojibway Club, the social and recreational centre of the community, Webster says.

Point au Baril was named after a barrel on the point that marked the dangerous entry from Georgian Bay to the main channel. The Ojibway Club is accessible only by boat.
