Full of Grace
The Saks party for Grace Jones was where all the excitement was
The city has come alive for the 39th annual Toronto International Film Festival with stargazers, paparazzi and loads of A- list red carpet arrivals. A festival that never disappoints, 300 films from 79 countries were screened.
TIFF honchos Piers Handling and Cameron Bailey reigned supreme at the Bell Lightbox on opening night where the building was overtaken by producers, directors and talent who were all ready and willing to let their hair down. The real excitement was at the private Saks party for the one and only Grace Jones (who was running late and has of course, earned that right).
The avant- garde star was joined by Jean Paul Gaultier, Sophie Fiennes ( director), Katie Holly ( producer) and

many Grace- worshippers who were too excited to speak – although the constant flow of Veuve Cliquot may have helped.
Saks clients were treated to private meet- and- greet photo ops with the icon before joining the big brouhaha where she mixed and mingled with the adoring crowd before being whisked away for the screening of Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami.
Those who didn’t want the party to end joined Greta Constantine designers along with Michael and Krystal Cooper who hosted quite the shaker at the Broadview Hotel. There, amped up guests had the ultimate dance party with Grace until after 3 a.m. Hugo Boss celebrated in true style when they hosted the World Premiere of I,Tonya with a post- premiere soirée at Montecito Restaurant. The star- studded cast hit the scene including an absolutely gorgeous and talented Margot Robbie. Leading the way along with Robbie was Sebastien Stan, Allison Janney, Caitlin Carver and McKenna Grace. This ultraexclusive party did not disappoint. Hugo Boss has been a sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival for the past 20 years.
