PARIS INTRODUCES ITS FIRST NUDE RESTAURANT
One might wonder what to make of the fivesecond rule — a piece of food remains edible for five seconds after falling off a plate — when it comes to dining in the nude. One can find out now that the concept has become a bit of a trend in the restaurant industry. After naturist restaurants popped up in London and Tokyo, O’naturel opened Nov. 2 in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, exclusively to mem- bers of a Parisian nudist colony, reports Le Parisien. Now open to the public, the 40-seat spot is carefully designed, with thick blackout curtains, and a secure cloakroom for all diners’ belongings, encouraging “complete freedom.” While it could certainly make for some adventurous dining, perhaps don’t save it for a first date. Or a second, or a third.
