RENOVATED SPACE ON THREE LEVELS

No. 274 Oriole Pkwy. was on the market last May for $2.698 million. It was taken off 42 days later when the Toronto housing market stalled after the introduction of the foreign-buyers tax spooked the market, says listing agent David Batori.

“Fast forward to June 2018. I was brought on to assist in the sale of the home. We had listed the home at $2.649 million and had an offer that was unacceptable. We reduced the price to $2.549 and had a young couple purchase it for $2.475 million.”

The original owners have enjoyed the large custom brick home since it was built in 1988. The house has more than 3,300 square feet of renovated space on three levels, including four bedrooms, a renovated eat-in kitchen, a breakfast area and a walkout lower level. The four bathrooms have been renovated. The living/dining room has a fireplace and hardwood floors.

The 33x130-foot landscaped lot has a private driveway and a built-in one-car garage tucked under the house. Flower beds line either side of the walkway leading to the front door.

“It’s in Chaplin Estates, on a treed street with a boulevard. It is steps to Davisville station, the Kay Gardiner Beltline trails and great schools,” Batori says.
