A larger Bloor West Village home with a third floor and a property that measures almost 27x110 feet attracted lots of attention. Listing agent Andrea Morrison says there were three busy days of open houses and 28 booked appointments to see 159 Colbeck St.

In the end there were two offers to purchase, with the house selling for $ 1.6 million, which was $ 150,000 over the asking price.

Morrison says it was priced to sell quickly, and it did. If properties are priced well, it’s not unusual for homes to sell this quickly in Bloor West Village.

The o wners made improvements to the house but did not renovate it. Three wall-mounted air conditioning units, a gas fireplace in the living room and a new tankless boiler were added since 2012.

New roof shingles were added in 2017.
