Buyers are now looking at homes with a more critical eye. “They’re assessing their ability to offer adequate home office space,” says listing agent Jenny D’uva.

This suite has dedicated office space in the second bedroom. It has custom cabinetry, a gas fireplace and large windows, she says.

“Visitors also responded very favourably to the beautiful wraparound, approximately 375- squarefoot terrace overlooking the courtyard.”

The split- bedroom plan suite has a “thoughtful design and smart organizational functionality, with custom cabinetry throughout, which capitalizes on vertical space,” D’uva says.

The corner suite has wraparound windows and an abundance of natural light. Some walls were removed to create an open concept. The space incorporates contemporary elements along with the original classic design.

Custom cabinetry, a large island with a breakfast bar and a built-in wine fridge are kitchen features.

“To add a pop of colour and continuity throughout the space, I brought in artwork pieces from artist Agata Wisniewski,” D’uva says.

At 1,653 square feet, this “ideal mid- size suite” att racted predominantly couples.

Potential buyers were also taken by the building, One St. Thomas Residences, “an exquisite Art Deco- style boutique condominium designed by renowned architect Robert Stern,” she says.

The building offers firstclass concierge service and superb amenities, including valet parking, an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a spa, sauna, massage room, gym and two guest suites. There is also a common area dining room with a catering kitchen and a cocktail lounge.

Suites in the building rarely come up for sale, D’uva says. “There was a lot of interest from the beginning, with viewing appointments scheduled immediately after it was listed. Within two days of being listed, an offer was accepted.”
