Bruce Mitchell, the largest shareholder of Alberta Oilsands Inc., supports the company’s takeover of Marquee Energy. Prior to that transaction being announced on Aug. 19, Mitchell supported the position taken by activist investor Smoothwater Capital. Incorrect information appeared in Wednesday’s Financial Post.
