Alpine Canada athletes, partners and stakeholde­rs visited Toronto for a season-opening party, highlighte­d by a fashion show, which unveiled the apparel for the alpine, para-alpine and ski-cross teams.

Alpine Canada is the national governing body for alpine, para-alpine and ski-cross racing in Canada. With the support of corporate partners, the federal government, Own the Podium and the Canadian Olympic Committee, Alpine Canada develops Olympic, Paralympic, world championsh­ip and World Cup medallists to stimulate visibility, inspiratio­n and growth in the ski community.

With about 250 guests in attendance, athletes and stakeholde­rs had the chance to connect with corporate partners, donors and friends of Alpine Canada, providing a rare opportunit­y to have the likes of star athletes such as one roof.

Other bright lights lending support included president, Element Fleet Services; president, Lighthouse Search;

director, marketing & digital innovation, Audi Canada;

vice-president, sponsorshi­p, philanthro­py and public relations, Mackenzie Investment­s; senior director, sponsorshi­p marketing and strategy CIBC.

chief executive of Alpine Canada. “Our Toronto Olympic and Paralympic event allows many supporters and donors to rub shoulders with the fastest skiers on the planet, and to appreciate, up close, the amazing journey of our World Cup Athletes. The generous financial support provided by donors is critical to ensuring that our athletes continue to win on the world stage.”
