RFA. It’s too early to give up on a 23-year-old who was the fourth overall pick in the 2012 draft.

RFA. Averaged 17:58 of ice time in 66 games with Detroit last season. Only turns 24 on July 24.

$1.7 million. At 6-foot-4, McNabb, 26, doesn’t offer much offensive upside but can still play solid defence.

RFA. Dotchin, 23, registered 11 points in 33 games and saw time paired with Victor Hedman. from being taken, Bailey, 27, is a respectable alternative.

$3.75 million. A 46-point producer this past season, Perron, 29, could fetch assets at the trade deadline.

$3.85 million: Eakin, 26, had three consecutive 35-plus point seasons before his recovery from a knee injury limited him to 12 last season.

$850,000. A first-round pick of the Blue Jackets in 2013, he’s young (22) and fast. Plenty of time for him to put it all together. RFA. Has better skills than he’s shown on the scoresheet. Maybe Vegas coach Gerard Gallant can find the key to a talented 23-yearold kid who has yet to accrue a 30-point season. RFA. The skilled eighth overall pick in the 2010 draft has been plagued by inconsistency but still teases, accruing 14 points in 26 games after being claimed off waivers from Winnipeg. He’s only 25, too.

$4 million. Struggled last season but it might be hard to pass up a speedy $650,000: Hudon, 22, could wriggle into the Knights’ Top Six, as exemplified by his 162 points in 297 AHL games. $1 million. The Columbus Dispatch reported the Jackets will surrender a first-round pick for the Knights taking either Karlsson, 24, or left wing Matt Calvert, 27. Go with the younger guy.

$650,000: The 24-year-old centre is a viable candidate if a deal makes Manson and Vatanen off limits.

RFA. Vegas will be a place for projects and Gaunce, 22, certainly is one. Vancouver’s talented first-round pick in 2012 has just six points in 77 NHL games to show for it. $863,333. Selected 19th overall in 2013, Rychel, 22, had 52 points in 73 AHL games last season.

There also is speculation the Panthers might be interested in trading for him.

$689,167. Needs to learn how to finish but, at 22, has speed and skill to cause havoc around the opposition net. $1.275 million: He’s 25 and he has plenty of speed to keep up, but collecting points remains a question.
