Cosby, wife ‘arguing since the verdict’

Bill Cosby’s 74-year-old wife Camille is reportedly moving out of the couple’s home as her husband awaits sentencing for the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand.

According to Radaronline, Camille has left their Pennsylvania home, where Cosby assaulted Constand, and into their house in Massachusetts.

She reportedly took their entire staff, including a chef, house manager and personal driver, with her, leaving Cosby alone and confined to the mansion. According to Radar, she’s been taking advantage of the property’s “Olympicsized pool, ferrying in groups of female friends to provide emotional support and hawking family assets in the wake of Cosby’s massive legal bills.”

Those assets include Cosby’s private jet, vintage car collection and a selection of California real estate holdings, which means a divorce could be messy for the pair.

A source told the tabloid, “They’ve been fighting and arguing since the verdict. She wanted a divorce, but he begged her to stay!”

According to Buzzfeed’s Claudia Rosenbaum, however, reports of her filing for divorce are “not true.”

Camille, who appeared alongside Cosby during his spring trial only once, said in her only comment about the conviction in May, “The overall media, with their frenzied, relentless demonization of him and unquestioning acceptance of accusers’ allegations without any attendant proof, have superseded the Fifth and 14th Amendments, which guarantee due process and equal protection, and thereby eliminated the possibility of a fair trial and unbiased jury. Bill Cosby was labelled as guilty because the media and accusers said so … period.”

Cosby, meanwhile, will be arraigned in September and is likely to face some prison time as he continues to deny all allegations.
