Scheer is going to win

Re: Predictions for 2019, Conrad Black, Dec. 22

I have a contrarian prediction to Conrad Black’s, and that is, with an onslaught of pragmatic, older people voting next year, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer will beat Justin Trudeau by a nose.

I am an older male who has voted Liberal most of my life, but that changes the next election because Trudeau has become:

❚ “Mr. Dress Up” in India, with no business accomplished for Canada

❚ “Mr. Apology” in Alberta, with no concrete solutions accompanying the apology

❚ “Mr. Enforcer” in beating up on small business with a tax stick

❚ “Mr. Bully” in beating up on the churches for the summer student program

❚ “Mr. Prosecutor” of the honourable Vice-Admiral Mark Norman

❚ “Mr. Drug Lord” of the marijuana cartel run by government

❚ “Mr. Tax Collector” of the new carbon and cannabis taxes

❚ “Mr. Compulsive Spender” of our tax dollars

❚ “Mr. Procrastinator” in responding far too slow to Trump’s economic policies that damage Canada’s economy, jobs and business investments

❚ “The Terminator” with a licence to kill the energy sector, an important part of Canada’s economy

❚ And come next year’s election, “Mr. Desperado.” William Kennedy, Kingston, Ont.
