Women in France face a wait of more than 1,000 years before they get equal pay, at its current 0.1 per cent rate of change (in 2010 the gap was 15.6 per cent; by 2018 it was 15.5). British women have 58 years, Germans 101 years. The gap is growing in Ireland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia, the European Trade Union Confederation found. Canada's female workers must wait 164 years, the UN says.
