Help out at the Salvation

Army Bethany Hope Centre: They are looking to fill two positions. An assistant front-desk worker is being sought to fill administra­tive and clerical duties, including: answer phones, provide informatio­n to clients, welcome guests, maintain the welcome area, and more. We are also seeking a kitchen helper to assist the supervisor in preparatio­n of breakfast and lunch. Responsibi­lities include meal prep, follow food safety standards, assist in serving, cleanup and more. Make a difference in the

lives of children on a fun-filled day! Easter Seals Ontario needs volunteers for the Ottawa Physio Race on Sunday, April 19, at Immaculata High School. Race Day Volunteers will assist with course setup, course marshal, and at water stations. Students and adults are encouraged to apply. As the recipient charity, Easter Seals is asked to recruit volunteers. Proceeds raised will benefit Camp Merrywood, a fully accessible summer camp for children and youth with physical disabiliti­es.
