Duffy’s back to billing for living expenses

Re: Senator Mike Duffy billed Canadians for Ottawa living expenses this spring, Senate documents reveal, Aug. 9.

Sen. Mike Duffy’s persistence in claiming expenses as a resident of Prince Edward Island redefines moral turpitude. Perhaps he should be screened against the criteria used for the selection of new senators, one of which is:

“Individuals must demonstrate outstanding personal qualities, including adhering to the principles and standards of public life, ethics, and integrity.”
