Mansbridge should not cover sports

Re: Mansbridge should stick to politics, Aug. 11.

Nice to see that I was not alone in my negative assessment of Peter Mansbridge’s “colour commentary” during the Olympic Games opening ceremonies. The CBC should keep him far, far away from commenting on any athletic function, especially the Olympics. I don’t see CBC sports broadcasters and analysts doing political colour commentary on election night.
