The Hip not done, hints guitarist
The Tragically Hip’s tour is coming to an end next week, but don’t assume the band is finished with music. At least that’s what guitarist Rob Baker hinted this week on his Twitter account in response to a fan’s message, according to The Canadian Press. Baker emphasized the rock band has “never said anything” about hanging up their instruments as lead singer Gord Downie faces incurable brain cancer. The comment came after the fan tweeted Baker saying he’d be delighted if the Hip dropped a bombshell revelation at its Kingston show on Aug. 20. Baker came back with a cryptic suggestion there’s more to come.
