PERCENTAGE OF REPUBLICAN SENATORS WHO ARE ANTI-TRUMP Republican­s control 54 of 100 U.S. Senate seats. Of those, 17 have either called for Trump to resign or have stated their intentions to vote for someone else. Four states that have filled both their senate seats with Republican­s are now committed anti-Trumpers: New Hampshire, Nebraska, Arkansas and Arizona.

PERCENTAGE OF REPUBLICAN MEMBERS OF CONGRESS WHO ARE ANTI-TRUMP Republican­s hold a 246-seat majority in the House of Representa­tives, of which 35 have gone against Trump — including as many as 15 during the past few days. “As a strong and vocal advocate for victims of sex traffickin­g and assault, I must be true to those survivors and myself and condemn the predatory and reprehensi­ble comments of Donald Trump,” Missouri Republican Ann Wagner said Friday. “I withdraw my endorsemen­t and call for Governor Pence to take the lead.”

The anti-Trump governors represent both liberal states and some of the most conservati­ve patches of the United States — namely Massachuse­tts, Maryland, Tennessee, Ohio, New Mexico, Alabama, South Dakota and Utah.

Mitt Romney, the 2012 nominee, said as early as June that his conscience would not let him vote for Trump. John McCain, the 2008 nominee, withdrew his endorsemen­t on Friday. George H.W. Bush revealed to a visitor in September that he was voting for Clinton. And George W. Bush has kept his intentions secret. So far, the only major party candidate for the U.S. presidency who has publicly endorsed Trump is 1996 nominee Bob Dole.
