RICHCRAFT’S TRAILSEDGE GETS CLOSE TO NATURE
Woods home to a kilometre of trails and two hectares of parks
An enormous woodlot with extensive trails, bike paths and parks surrounds the intimate neighbourhoods of Richcraft Homes’ Trailsedge development in Orleans.
The community is just a short drive away from the 417, which provides residents with quick access to sports facilities, commercial services, the new Brian Coburn extension (planned to open in the coming year) and the Frank Bender extension near the Walmart on Innes Road. There are also new schools planned for the area, including a new French Catholic elementary and secondary school.
Trailsedge is a growing community with an estimated 2,000 homes built on more than 120 hectares. The development includes a healthy mixture of single family homes, bungalows, executive townhomes, urban back-toback townhomes and future highdensity developments including terrace-style homes and condominiums. Richcraft is working on the first and second phases of five.
One of the biggest features of this location is the woodlot, with paths and the parks within the community. Over a kilometre of trails, six hectares of protected forest, six hectares of open space (a storm water management creek and a pond) and two hectares of parkland can be found here.
“Trailsedge is different from other communities as there is a large nature aspect to the community,” says Shawn Bellman, marketing manager at Richcraft Homes. “As communities get more developed, this often seems to be forgotten, and many are searching for the tranquillity that a woodlot and walking trails bring, but within the city limits.”
Richcraft’s Trailsedge has a model home showcase with seven professionally decorated homes available to view. There are also seven new single family home designs crafted by award-winning architect Jason Flynn.
New homeowners will find the charm, intimacy and spirit of small-town life in perfect balance with big-city amenities at Richcraft’s Trailsedge in Orleans.
