Trump slammed for punchline

In Time magazine this week, U.S. President Trump defends himself by saying, “I can’t be doing so badly — because I’m president and you’re not.” Late-night host and Saturday Night Live alumnus Seth Meyers notes the line sounds a lot like Chevy Chase’s famous, “I’m Chevy Chase. And you’re not” — his Weekend Update catchphrase. “OK, I didn’t mind when you talked dirty to Billy Bush or when you told Russia to hack Hillary’s emails,” Meyers said Thursday. “But when you start stealing bits from Weekend Update anchors, it is on!”
