Craig Anderson, Ottawa: After taking a two-month leave of absence to be with his wife Nicholle while she underwent cancer treatment, the Senators goalie has returned to help lead his team to the post-season.

Andrew Cogliano, Anaheim: This is the fourth time in his career he’s been nominated for the award. Cogliano has played 779 consecutive games.

Derek Ryan, Carolina: The 29-year-old Ryan took a long, winding road to the NHL this season. He played junior, Canadian university, the UHL, AHL and had stops in Europe.
