Tom Jones asking $8M for L.A. home
Welsh crooner Tom Jones is selling his Mediterranean-style villa on Mulholland Estates in Beverly Hills, Calif., for $8 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Jones, who is a coach on The Voice U.K., is known for hits such as It’s Not Unusual, What’s New Pussycat and Can’t Stop Loving You.
The gated 8,000-square-foot home sits on more than half an acre and has views of Mt. Baldy and the city.
The five-bedroom home has a classical floor plan. There’s a twostorey entry with a skylight and a curved staircase.
Upstairs there’s a master bedroom with a sitting area, his and hers bathrooms and walk-in dressing rooms. There are three bedrooms with walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms.
On the main level, the living room has a fireplace and French doors leading to a covered deck.
The family and dining rooms also open onto private outdoor areas. The property has a pool, a spa and stone terracing.
He bought the home in 1998 for $2.65 million.
It’s now listed with Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker and Cecelia Waeschle of Sotheby’s International Realty.
