Two teenaged girls dead in Stittsville crash

Two teenagers died and two others were taken to hospital following a single-vehicle rollover in Stittsville on Sunday evening. An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesman said two female teens were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in “a treed area” on Fernbank Road, near Jinkinson Road. A 17-year-old female and an 18-year-old male with “multiple trauma” were taken to hospital, the spokesman said. Ottawa Fire Service said police were notified of the crash at 9:22 p.m. Three of the four individuals in the vehicle were unconscious, and all four had to be extricated from it.
