THE BIG MATCHUP Craig Anderson vs. Carey Price Anderson will start in net for the Senators again after getting Friday night off in New Jersey. He has a 10-10-3 lifetime record against the Habs with a 3.10 goals-against average and an .898 savepercentage. The Senators are splitting their current fourgame stretch into two starts each for Anderson and Mike Condon. Price comes into Ottawa with a 3-6-1 record and 3.64 goals-against average. He has to be better for the Habs to win.

FIVE KEYS TO THE GAME

1.

WIN AT HOME

The Senators have a 2-1-4 record in their home building. They must have a successful showing before heading to Sweden to face the Colorado Avalanche in a pair of games.

2.

POINTS FROM PAGEAU

This is a given against the Habs for Senators centre Jean-Gabriel Pageau, isn’t it? He has seven goals and four assists in 15 career games versus Montreal. He must love playing against the Habs.

3.

KEEP THEM DOWN

The Habs have only seven points in their first 11 games and Ottawa has the opportunity to make sure Montreal closes out October with an awful record.

4.

SCORE ON THE POWER PLAY

The Senators have just one goal with the man advantage in their past four games. They’re 1-for-9 during that stretch and that can decide the issue many nights.

5.

KEEP ROLLING TOM

Winger Tom Pyatt has been given an expanded role because of the manpower shortage up front and has been playing with confidence. He was a contributor for the Senators last season and they still need that.
