HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS

When: Nov. 17-19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. How much: $50 for a ticket booklet, which allows access to eight homes, the holiday pop-up shop at the Irish Ambassador’s Residence and the Gingerbrea­d Village at the May Court Club/Hospice stop over the three days. PARISH OF HUNTLEY CHRISTMAS HOUSE TOUR

What: This tour is the major fundraiser for the Anglican parish in Carp. There will be six homes and a church on the tour. Each is partnered with a florist to add to the Christmas decor. There is a home for everyone; from a modern smart home to a historic farmhouse built in 1875. When: Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets: $25 and can be purchased online at huntleypar­ish.com or by calling Connie at 613-978-0635.

THE RENFREW VICTORIA HOSPITAL AUXILIARY CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR

What: This is a self-guided tour featuring seven of Renfrew’s many desirable homes. Of the seven homes on the tour, three are located in the Town of Renfrew and the other four are on the outskirts. Proceeds support the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. When: Nov. 26, between 12:30 and 5 p.m. Tickets: $25 each and include a dessert tea in the hospital cafeteria, plus a chance to win a beautiful watercolou­r painting by local artist Diana Wakely. Tickets can be purchased in Renfrew at Aikenhead’s Drug Store, The Flower Factory and the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Gift Shop, as well as in Cobden at the Candlewick Gift Shop and in Arnprior at Audrey’s In Town Fashions.

THE VILLAGE OF RICHMOND HOLIDAY HOUSE & BUSINESS TOUR

What: This charitable event takes you on a guided tour of beautifull­y decorated homes and businesses in the Village of Richmond in support of the local food bank. After the tour be sure to check out the lighting of the park at 4:30 p.m. and the Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m. When: Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets: $25, available through eventbrite.ca

PERTH CHRISTMAS HOUSE TOUR

What: Tour of eight homes transforme­d for the holidays with inspiring seasonal decor presented by talented Perth and area designers and florists. Proceeds go to the Canadian Federation of University Women organizati­on to invest in the local community. What: Tour of eight private homes decorated for the holidays, plus two local businesses. When: Dec. 2 from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets: $25 at several retailers, including Carleton Place Nursery, 7164 County Rd. No. 29; The Beckwith Kitchen, 3-1 Costello Dr.; Yarn Forward, 474 Hazeldean Rd.; and Tinseltown Emporium, 1096 Somerset St. West, Ottawa. Cash or cheque only.
