eQ Homes to Hold Holiday Toy Drive in Support of Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario

OTTAWA, ON Partnering with renowned toy store Mrs. Tiggy Winkles, eQ Homes has just unveiled their first holiday initiative. From now until December 20th, eQ Homes will hold a toy drive in support of Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario with donation boxes at each of their new home sales offices. With support from Mrs. Tiggy Winkles toy shop, eQ Homes will match all toy donations gifted by the community. We’re honoured to be selected as the recipient of this toy drive,

“We’re excited to partner with eQ Homes on this toy drive for Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario,” says Simon Anisman, owner of the Mrs. Tiggy Winkles toy store. “Making kids smile is our specialty, so it’s very satisfying to be able to help local children who need it the most.”

Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Along with the national office, eight regional chapters grant magical wishes to children in need from coast-to-coast.

“We’re honoured to be selected as the recipient of this toy drive,” says Tanya Dejardins, CEO of Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario. “The holidays can be extremely difficult for families who have a sick child, especially when their little one is stuck in the hospital or bed-ridden. These toys will help lift their spirits during a very difficult time in their lives.”

“Having seen first-hand how Make-A-Wish positively impacts local families, I’m proud to be part of this initiative,” says Katherine Toms, Digital Marketing Coordinator at eQ Homes. “It’s a great cause, and of course we’re thrilled to work with Mrs. Tiggy Winkles.”

The eQ Toy Drive will take place at all eQ sales offices, including eQuinelle in Kemptville, Fernbank Crossing in Stittsville, Pathways at Findlay Creek, Clarence Crossing in Rockland, and Greystone Village in old Ottawa East. Please visit any of the sales centres below to contribute a toy this holiday season.
