The dads cure and fry some house-made pork belly into a BLT sandwich at The Swinery in Seattle, Washington. Then they have a breakfast pizza fully loaded with surprise toppings and bake on a brioche crust. Finally, they try a mash-up burrito.

Lorelai plans a road trip to North Carolina to attend the wedding of Mia, the woman who served as her and Rory’s surrogate mother/grandmother for many years. Rory agrees to go on the trip, and Emily invites herself along to get away from Richard.
