The Blues also secured a fifthround pick in the 2020 draft in exchange for defenceman Joel Edmundson, prospect Dominik Bokk and a seventh-round pick in 2021.

A three-time all-star, Faulk, 27 recorded 11 goals, 24 assists and a plus-9 rating in 82 regular-season games with the Hurricanes in 2018-19. Case Keenum will remain the Washington Redskins’ starting quarterback despite an 0-3 record, coach Jay Gruden said.

“Not really,” Gruden said. “The most important thing is that we have some continuity. I can’t change people every five minutes.”

UEFA’s ruling executive committee agreed it would “recommend to its 55 national associations and all European clubs not to play matches in countries where women have restricted access to stadiums.”
