1990: Lise Roy, 27, was married to Cleroux when she disappeare­d.

2001: Jean Rock, 32, believed to be Cleroux's common-law wife, disappears.

May 2010: Paula Leclair, 64, goes missing from her Fairlea Crescent apartment. Her body is found days later in a nearby wooded area.

June 3, 2010: Camille Cleroux, 56, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Paula Leclair. He had moved into her apartment and told Leclair's son that she had given Cleroux the apartment after winning the lottery and moving to Florida.

June 2010: After hearing of first-degree murder charges against Cleroux, former neighbour Robert Fling approaches police about hearing screams from Cleroux's Heathering­ton Avenue house 20 years earlier. He admits he wasn't “100 per cent sure.”

June 25, 2010: Camille Cleroux is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Jean Rock in 2001 and Lise Roy in 1990.

Oct. 31, 2011: Workers find human remains in the backyard at 1535 Heathering­ton Ave. A neighbour tells Postmedia that accused serial killer

Camille Cleroux once lived at the property. Police begin digging.

Nov. 4, 2011: A preliminar­y hearing for Cleroux is adjourned after human remains are found at his former home. Nov. 4, 2011: Police investigat­ors conclude their dig at 1535 Heathering­ton. The remains are shipped to Toronto for analysis.

Nov. 16, 2011: Police start digging for human remains in Heathering­ton Park. Police say their investigat­ion into the remains found at 1535 Heathering­ton led them to the second site.

March 20, 2012: Cleroux's preliminar­y hearing ends and he agrees to stand trial on three counts of first-degree murder.

April 20, 2012: Police confirm they've found more human remains connected to Cleroux in a forested section of Fairlea Park.

June 26, 2012: Cleroux pleads guilty to one count of first-degree murder and two of second-degree murder in the deaths of two ex-wives and his neighbour. He is sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.

Jan. 17, 2021: Camille Cleroux dies in prison of apparent natural causes.
