Syria conflict is not a civil war

-

Dear Editor: Certain political factions and media interests relating the Syrian Arab Army and Russian-led coalition forces liberation of civilians in Aleppo is and has been grossly disingenious... or more frankly stated are scurrilous lies!

The six years long conflict in Syria is not a civil war but actually a British/US/NATO and Gulf State assisted war of regime change.

There is no such entity as moderate rebels or the so-called Free Syrian Army, only terrorists. This is what Syrians and especially the citizens of Aleppo fully understand.

For anybody who wishes to invest the required intellectual rigor in order to truly direct their deserved disgust and outrage, it is necessary to get the facts.

The Canadian freelance journalist Eva Bartlett and Vanessa Beeley, a journalist from the UK, have presented powerful and compelling reports on the war and the plight of the Syrian people. Senator Richard Black, R(Va) and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard D(Hi) have continued to campaign for the truth.

Where are the voices of Canadian political representatives? These brave folks' analysis can be found on youtube videos and elsewhere in the public domain.

This internet webpage is also very useful in getting to the truth... or is it “fake news?” — www.strategicculture.org/news/2016/12/15/aleppovictory-us-its-crime-partners-suffermeltdown-sanity.html Brian Gray Penticton
