Talent Quest registrati­ons go to Jan. 12

Performers’ registrati­ons for season No. 5 of Talent Quest will continue to the Jan. 12 deadline date to allow for confirmati­on numbers to workshop presenters for their (morning and afternoon) workshops at the Sandman Hotel on Jan 21.

Workshops are designed in part to critique stage, voice and music skills in a “fun and interactiv­e” hands-on workshops by seasoned profession­al musicians.

By request a special new “Songwriter­s” workshop has been added. Special guest artists include recording artists Robyn and Ryeigh of Royal Records (Sony Canada); David Wills of RCA Records and lead singer song writer of “Stone bolt” fame. Wills is currently involved in artist management (R&R group) producer and continues to perform at special U.S. and Canadian reunion tours.

The songwriter­s workshop at on Jan. 21 is open to all singer song writers and general public.

Tickets are $15 (cash only) and are available at the Hotel front desk until Jan. 14.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Meet the special guest artists following song writers presentati­on with refreshmen­ts to follow.

The art logo contest is free for our merchandis­ing items (hats, scarfs, tuques, hoodies, etc) to sell with all proceeds to talent quest shows. The contest is open to ages 9 and over.
