Ron Dirksen piled up three goals and four assists as Rona defeated Penticton Lock and Key 12-4 in Bad Tattoo Brewery Masters Indoor Soccer League play Sunday at the Adidas Sportsplex.

Wayne Zral, Vlado Zamecnik and Alan Clarke each scored twice as Rona opened up a six-point lead over their nearest rivals after 10 rounds of play.

Harry Higson, Darryl Pace and Paul Borba also bulged the onion bag for Rona, which built a 5-0 lead and cruised to victory.

League scoring leader Zico Pescada scored twice and Norman Peters and Peter Ruocco tacked on one apiece for PLK.

Peter Toth had the hat-trick and Mike Beliveau scored twice as TC Auto Sales cruised past Harvey-Lister-Webb 7-3.

Shawn Goodsell and Phil Nunes also connected and Brian Johnston had three assists for TC Auto, which led 4-2 at the half.

Andy Burt had two nicely headed goals on crosses by Dave Hewer while Gord McLaren added a late goal for HLW.

HLW and TC Auto are tied for second place with 14 points while PLK has 12 points.

The “Lucky Players of the Week” were Andy Burt and Keith Johnstone (TC Auto), who received $10 Bad Tattoo gift certificat­es, and Harold McEwen of HLW, who nabbed the $20 Bad Tattoo gift card.

In games this Sunday, HLW takes on PLK at 10 a.m., then Rona faces TC Auto at 11:15 a.m.
