As realtors, we’re certainly not health experts, but we do know staying active is important at any age. good general rule of thumb is to get a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity per week.

Spread out over seven days, that’s less than 25 minutes a day.

It’s a goal most of us should be able to manage.

Many Kelowna apartment complexes have in-house gyms. But, for those not living in such a complex, we thought we’d share three costeffect­ive ways you can get active this February, no matter whether you’re age 25 or just 25 at heart. Now the coldest stretch of winter is (hopefully) behind us, going for a brisk 25 minute walk around your neighbourh­ood each day is very achievable.

In fact, dance is now being used to help treat individual­s suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
