Elvena Slump for city council

Seeing as how our current city council is continuing with its arrogant ways, I am more and more dreaming of a future knowledgeable, responsible replacement. To that end, I have a few potentials in mind, those who consistently express themselves clearly and sensibly, have a practical bent and care about the taxpayers and ordinary citizens.

Prolonged campaigns wouldn’t be that necessary as “my” people have already made known their ideas and opinions for all to see. I refer, of course, to the Herald editorial page, and all those righteous writers: Mark Billesberger, Ted Wiltse, Gord McLaren, Jake Kimberley, and, of course, Elvena Slump

Don’t say you’re too old, Elvena. Think. Trump; Slump. Aren’t you two about the same age? (Don’t get insulted; I’m only equating ages.)

I’m sure there are many more capable people interested in the well-being of our city; the ones I mentioned just most consistently make their views known. Joy Layng Penticton
