Penticton Herald

Don’t know what you’re missing

-

Re: “Fan mail for staff of Herald” (Herald, March 15).

Shirley Gray got that right, as I’m quite sure subscribers of The Herald would agree that this damned good editor has a damned good support staff !

Turning out a daily newspaper that’s not afraid to print the good, the bad and the ugly, that arrives at our door every day, is no small feat. Along with it comes the never-ending dose of sad news stories that do have to be told.

The Penticton Herald is second-to-no other newspaper — big or small — in the world and eyes of its readers.

I thank Shirley Gray for reminding readers of this jewel that we sometimes take for granted, this jewel that greets its subscribers, without complaint, each and every, early morning.

For those who don’t subscribe, you don’t know what you’re missing. Tom Isherwood
