Upcoming workshops for seniors, caregivers

Two local agencies are conducting a series of workshops this spring for seniors and their caregivers.

The program, Caring for Adults Requiring Extra Support, is designed to give seniors, their families and caregivers some help planning for the future and guidance for healthy living.

It’s a joint initiative of Interior Health and the Penticton and District Community Resources Society. Weekly sessions will run on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m., April 6 - June 8, at the Penticton Health Centre at 740 Carmi Ave.

There is no cost to attend and registration is not required.
