Assistant Sheriff Bob Peterson and executive director Marilyn MacDougall from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in California dropped by The Herald, Wednesday, during the 3rd annual Papa John’s Dream for Kids Day. A total of $42,354 was raised in the six stores (which included Penticton) for Sunshine Dream for Kids.

Ms. Clark, our fearless leader, ran true to form. On almost every direct question posed to her, she seemed to take a page from Donald Trump’s play book. She dipsey doodled around the direct questions that were asked by deflection a la Trump. She always brought already discussed, non-related issues to respond to questions asked. Trumpology at work or what?

There was no real winner here. They seemed to act like small children playing in a sandbox with each trying to control the sandbox without realizing what to do with it if control had happened.

On May 9th, who will it be? Will the electorate vote heart over head again or will head and conscience come into play this time?
